Executive Director, Leap Africa

Femi Taiwo serves as the Executive Director of LEAP Africa- one of Africa’s leading youth-focused and youth-led leadership development organizations. In this role, he oversees the organization’s administration, fund-raising, strategy implementation, and program delivery in six African countries. Before this position at LEAP, Femi was the founding Executive Director of Eagles HOPE Foundation (aka H.O.P.E- Helping Other People Excel), a non-profit initiated by the Covenant University Alumni Association. He is a 2018 Aspen Institute IdeasFest Scholar and is part of the inaugural class of the Obama Africa Leaders Programme. He seats on the Board of United Nations Global Compact (Nigeria Local Network), the Covenant University Alumni Association among others. Femi completed an Executive Education Programme at Harvard Business School. He holds an MSc degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from Manchester Business School, where he focused his research on Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Covenant University, where he earned a first-class degree in Computer Science.
